YangGuoXiang is back.

George returned today. I worked on some business…that was soooo exciting. Not much else happened today. I took my cloud-tiling print and added some colour to it. I will post a pic to show you how it will look in the future.

I watched Christmas with the Kranks on YTV today with Matt and Jen. That was fun…except the movie seemed to go on forever. It was pretty good though. I went to snack bar and got new…not sure. I perused some new hats on MSN but decided against anything. I found a new print shop in London so I’m going to check that out this week. Who knows.

I decided also to print the purple shirts on American Apparel…as stated before but legit this time. Not sure what else I did today, I slept for most of it.

I am feeling better too so I can go back to swimming this coming week, woooooo.

That’s all for now, but here is some muzaak.

Everyone’s fave man, Jason Mraz.

Starbucks, Updates.

without comments

So, I saw a rockin shirt today which gave me inspiration so I will post a picture of what I’m thinking later.

I updated the toon cloud shirt, probably having it as a girls shirt.

or

Hm…I made a polka-dot design that would look sick if it didn’t mess with my eyes everytime I look at it. When I get a working colour scheme I will post that.

MORE UPDATES.

Alrighty, so today was a super boring day. Nobody really did anything all day. I chilled mostly, tried to work on my marketing report but it was WAY too boring. I watched Hot Fuzz and Transporter 2. I watched Transporter (1) yesterday so I will write my own reviews for both of those in the morning. I havent mentioned music in a bit so I highly recommend this band from Texas, they roxxor.

www.myspace.com/2ate1

All of their songs are wicked. I came up with two new designs today, right here.

Or in green

And my other design which needs some re-adjusting.

Hm, I am also going to start looking for local bands in the New Year to sponsor to help get recognition for Static, you know. I bought a bunch of new hats today on eBay…which wasted all of my remaining money, but I will show you those within a week or so when they arrive. They are all pretty sick to be honest though.

Not much else, it was a very slow day so…hopefully I have more to write about tomorrow.

Charlie Bartlett – Movie Review

without comments

Charlie Bartlett 8.5/10

This movie was actually really good. At first it seemed like it would be a children’s movie, but soon progressed to be a teen movie at the least. This movie  had everything you want in a teen movie; drugs, sex, boobies, money, attempted suicide…well, the only thing lacking was a hot leading actress. NOW, not to say that that is the most important aspect, but it did hurt the rating XD.

This movie was really funny, did not really have any boring points in the movie and was overall well done. The lead actor, Anton Yelchin, I had never seen before but he is an amazing actor. Some of the things he does are pretty outstanding. I actually really enjoyed this movie and recommend it to most people.

Torrent it up ppl.

Headquarterz

without comments

So, today was another relaxing day. I only had two classes, business and economics tutorial which were boring as usual. I came home, watched the latest episode of House, which was awesome, then headed out.

I had coffee with Mike, one of the guys I met at my first seminar. It turns out we had alot in common, he did t-shirts and such when he was younger and all. That was fun. On my way home, I stopped by Headquarterz and picked up a new hat, pictured below.

Hm, at home I grabbed some food and watched a ton of CSI with the neighbors. Now I’m here, about to write my Charlie review, then maybe watch yet another film. Who knows.

Changes? A Store?

without comments

So, today I was talking to people, and thinking (since I did nothing all day) that I should add a webstore. I perused a million options, each either costing money, involving work or just plain being too hard. I finally decided to just use PayPal buttons on my site and add a Store section to my site. Check it out at the top of the blog.

My day today? I woke up around noon…classes were “cancelled” today. I didn’t do much. I started watching my Wall-E DVD, read some of my A Bathing Ape book which is wicked cool. I tried to drop sociology…but failed so I must stick with it. Oh well, maybe I will start to take school a bit seriously now that I have to do well. My essay I handed in was super bad and I will post it up after I get it back.

I ate food, got ready to place a new order for the shirts (because I had to change some numbers) and am getitng the v-necks ready for processing. Just waiting on my OSAP money right now.

Maybe I will do something productive tonight, you will see I suppose.

11:15 pm.

Today as a floor event we had pictionary, and the guys team owned nubs to say the least. We managed to get some pretty hard & messed up ones, but we won by a landslide. I got some pizza and candy from snack bar and spent my evening watching Charlie Bartlett. George left for home this afternoon so my weekend will be much less eventful. I plan to get some homework done for a change…and also post a review for Charlie Bartlett soon too.

OH! So, tomorrow The Fall of Troy’s new album is released. I went online to their store and ordered some stuff. I ordered a holiday special of their 3 albums, as well as the release of their new one with a t-shirt. Speaking of band merch, I also ordered the Chiodos re-release of Bone Palace Ballet with a T-shirt, and ordered a long-sleeve shirt too.

In the mood of these mentioned bands, here are two songs I like by them.

The Dark Trail – The Fall of Troy
Intensity in Ten Cities – Chiodos

That’s all for this post. Movie Review to come.

My Sassy Girl – A Movie Review

without comments

Alright, last night I watched the movie “My Sassy Girl”.

4/10

This movie is a remake of the Korean original comedy. Having seen the Korean movie first, this one was a major let-down. While the producers clearly tried to reproduce elements from the previous film, it seemed like a rushed effort. Originally I was hoping for an exact re-make, but as the film went on I decided a few similarities would suffice. They ruined the over comic aspects of the movie and made a just plain bad movie.

Why do I give it 4/10? Well, besides being a horrible movie it at least starred Elisha Cuthbert who is a hottie haha and thats all that was actually decent about this movie. If you plan to just see this one, don’t expect something great. Honestly, I recommend you watch the Korean Original.

That’s all. And no, im not gay for watching this movie. the korean one is good.

A New Direction & V-Necks baby

without comments

So, last night I was talking to Asif and we decided to drop sociology….after I spent 3 months in that class AND wrote my essay. Whatever, I will have to pwn my new math courses next term. I have to go around and get the required signatures tomorrow, but I will post my essay when we get the marks back (in case some plagarism thing comes up).

Hm, today I handed in my calculus take home quiz and thats about all I did that was productive all day. In my sociology tutorial I did some sketching for a new design for girls. I also decided to print the toon cloud design on girls shirts too.

Ignore the random stuff, its the vine-like design I will be redoing. When I post the design gone over in Illustrator, you will see. George went to get a gangster hat at the mall today with Peter, blue jays styles. He also got “Doc” embroidered on the back.

I really haven’t done much today, but I ordered the new set of Block Style Tees today so those will be in for when I’m back in Oakville.

m.o.r.e.t.o.c.o.m.e

alright so we have confirmation that I can get v-necks. so…i need to get 12 at a time per size, so who wears a small v-neck? actually, anyone reading this tell me your size if you want one.

They will cost 22$ each and are actually printed on american apparel this time :p

here is what they would look like theoretically.

Let me know peeps!
