To Write Love On Her Arms
Yesterday was “To Write Love On Her Arms Day“. TWLOHA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting teenagers who suffer from depression, suicidal thoughts, addiction and other issues facing an unhealthy number of teens around the world. Yesterday, in order to show support for the cause they asked that you write “Love” somewhere on your arm. If someone asks what it means, you can help spread the word.
I heard of this organization at some point last year and picked up a couple pieces of clothing, a tee and a hoodie; both of which get a good deal of wear. Anyway, of course I wrote “Love” on my arm and was surprised to see other people around campus with it too. I was aware that TWLOHA had some ‘wide-spread’ awareness, but I figured that was mostly in the band scene and across the States. It made me happy to see other people showing support. One girl that night at McDonalds actually saw my shirt and was like “Look!” and showed me her arm where she had scrawled her support too. A girl on the bus had it in fancy script on her forearm while another in the library had a small message on her write.
I plan to start printing a charity shirt soon, with proceeds going towards this group because I strongly support what they believe in and are fighting for. To get more information, donate or purchase some sweet clothing check out their website here.

I love TWLOHA. They seriously helped one of my friends out when I showed them everything they did. <3
