Masonville Winter Fashion Show 2009
George and I, in our usual fashion, visited Masonville Mall. Today our sole purpose was to attend the fashion show being put on by the mall itself. After almost an hour of waiting things finally got underway. The DJ’s were douchy. I am an ultimate camera noob and couldn’t get mine to work for about the first half, even then my pictures didn’t turn out great.
I wished I had a) a better spot to take pictures from and b) remote camera competence.

All Prim and Proper
When I first got interested in the whole fashion scene I was all uppity on the blogs and such with lots of reading and scouring the web. I eventually came across this girl Kristin and read a bit about her. To say the least, at only 15 years old she has probably accomplished more than all of us, combined. She has her own publication, Prim Magazine, that boasts over 100,000 viewers (online and in print). Her magazine is sold in over 100 countries I believe. I personally ordered a copy online just to see what this young lady has done for herself. I am quite impressed with both this establishment as well as the whole layout/concept and everything of Prim. She has a ton of articles, little advertising and some great photo-spreads. She not only covers fashion but touches on the music scene as well with a few articles on musical artists.
Here is her June/July issue from earlier this year.
That’s all I can show but you should definitely consider grabbing yourself a copy! Or just take a look at her blog.
The young entrepreneurs of our generation never cease to amaze me.

Join The Club
I used to be big into the streetwear scene. I still like it and want some pieces from different places but I’m not set on a certain style right now.
However, I saw this 10 Deep tee and HAD TO HAVE IT. I mean, since I am slowly, very very very slowly, transitioning into the fashion world, Karl Lagerfeld is a big man. This shirt just reinforces his amazing-ness, regardless of the price I had to pay!
Utterly amazing. I consider this piece high fashion. I making my way into the cool club.
